It will go public after 1.9 is official and bukkit is out. We have the final map now. Only limited people can join. But the test map is out and public to try out the new mod.

how would one place the file in the minecraft.jar file?

Downloud winrar then right click minecraft.jar and open with winrar and place dile in there
